My name is Amanda and I have enjoyed working at Ciudad Patricia now for 7 years. Everyone who has decided to move to Ciudad Patricia has a list of many reasons why .I love meeting and talking with the residents every day and when I talk to them here are some of the things they tell me why they come and live here.

Friendships start here
What I find that many people I see feel alone or have a fear of being alone. Socialising is so important in your senior years. What most our residents have in common is that they all want to fully enjoy their life. All kinds of fun activities are laid on to join in if you want to. There are BBQs with live music, dance afternoons, excursions, painting classes, bridge club, games afternoons, yoga classes and much more. To help you keep fit and healthy we have a heated indoor/saltwater and outdoor pools with free aqua aerobic classes, gym with free keep fit classes. So, you will never have to feel alone here even if you just meet people for a morning coffee in our cafeteria.

Maintaining your dream of living in Spain
We have such a beautiful green resort full of lovely trees shrubs and flowers giving lovely gardens to stroll through. There are 4 buildings consisting of 175 apartments that were built over 32 years ago. There is also a brand-new building with 15 more spacious apartments that will be ready October this year. You purchase the apartments on a life time right of use. There are different types and size of apartments to choose from one; two and 3-bedroom apartments. They have a spacious terrace where you could even have a conservatory or glass curtains. Some apartments have their own private garden suitable for a little doggie or cat. You can even try out an apartment for a minimum of 3 nights. This will help you get a feel for the life here and you can get a chance to meet some of the resident's, explore the grounds and get a taste of life at the resort.

Peace of mind
When you aren't feeling well we have a community support worker that can go shopping for you, get your prescription's, go with you to the hospital and doctors to translate for you and much more (for a small fee)- We have a doctor living on site for emergencies and he also has his own surgery for appointments which are included. There is even a residential and rehabilitation center when you need full time extra care. When you don’t drive there is a bus at reception every half hour. We have a resort bus to take you shopping, There are many more things we offer to help you lead and enjoy a happy life.
