Iris, completed in 2018, offers 15 apartments built to luxury quality standards. It is located just 50 metres from the Central Building.

When you think of the Costa Blanca, your thoughts naturally turn to sunny days, glorious beaches, and stunning mediterranean coastlines. It’s just some of the factors that attract seniors to retire to the region. But just inland there is a treasure trove of places to visit.
About Gudalest
Just 25km inland from Senior Independent Living Resort Ciudad Patricia, lies the spectacular village and castle of Guadalest. This charming village offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The oldest part of Guadalest can only be reached on foot through a rock-carved gateway. At the top, are the ruins of the Castle of L’Alcazaiba, built by the Moors in the 11th century. The Alcala Tower remains as a testament to its history. The streets leading to the castle are lined with white-washed houses adorned with flowers. Guadalest’s beauty lies in its dramatic setting, overlooking a reservoir and surrounded by mountains, including Sierra Xorta, Sierra Aitana, and Sierra Serrella. It’s the perfect destination for a trip.
A Perfect Day Trip for Seniors
In the last week of June, a coachload of Ciudad Patricia’s resdents took a coach to visit not only Guadalest, but to have lunch in the beautiful Restaurant Riu, and to visit the Historical Vehicle Museum a little further down the Guadalest Valley. The Valle de Guadalest Historical Cars Museum is a haven for classic vehicle enthusiasts, showcasing around 140 motorcycles and micro-cars from the 1920s to the 1970s. Visitors can step back in time to appreciate the transportation of yesteryears, with the collection in pristine, original condition.
